CHOICE, Center for Healthy Options and Community Empowerment, was established 2003 by the collaboration of Florida A&M University, Harvard School of Public Health, and Florida State University. Select faculty of these partners institutions, dedicated junior faculty, researchers, members and leaders of communities, and volunteers come together, through CHOICE, to address the health disparities that exist in the African American communities of Gadsden County, Florida and Roxbury, Massachusetts.
